Brighton continued their domination of Sussex One as they ran in seven tries to beat Pulborough 41-3.

Steve Dean went over twice while Kenny Molekoa, Fraser Hutchinson, Ash Hallett, Tom Aitken and Jess Thompsett also touched down.

Hove II beat Haywards Heath III 17-3 with tries from Alex Pell-Stevens, Stuart Hathaway and Craig Ralfe despite seeing four players sent to the sin bin.

Emon Keshavarz kicked two drop goals to go with tries from Paul Sparks, Chris Ealy and Sam Basson as Crawley won 21-14 at Holbrook.

Two tries from Ollie Wooldridge plus touch downs by David Tyrell and Will Bell earned Lewes II a 22-14 victory at home to Seaford. Ben Cox and Piers Culshaw replied for the visitors.

Rye just got the better of Hellingly 22-20 while Uckfield remain second thanks to a 34-6 home win against Burgess Hill.

l Bognor created history as they beat Kingston 17-7 in the EDF Senior Vase to reach the fifth round for the first time ever.

Rob Parry kicked 12 of the points and also set up Pat Gibbs for Bognor’s only try to book a trip to London Four North East leaders Colchester next month.

Coach Karl Flynn said: “Over the last couple of years we have broken a few records so it is nice to make another piece of history. We’ve got a long trip next against a team who are going well in their division but we are still favourites to get through.”
